Illness Update

As soon as the nausea settled I got lightheaded and dizzy. I ate and felt much better. Five or so hours later I still feel a little off. I am hoping a long night's sleep will reset my system.

Unexplained Indigestion

Usually when a food disagrees with me I can trace it to its source. Then sometimes I wake up with upper GI indigestion. Today was one such day.

The story seems to have a happy ending. Ginger Ale, ginger root, pretzels and house brand version of Tums have turned the tide for now.

Pretzels deserve a shout out. People recommend soda crackers or bread but those things just don'w work as well for me as pretzels.

Approximately 8 oz. 93% lean ground beef, jalapenos, serving of asparagus and tomatoes in vinegar.

OFF-DIET....Problem ensued at work when I could not eat on schedule or prepare a low-calorie dinner. So I ate what was put in front of me. Try try again.

A planned off-diet day. Pretty much unavoidable. Tried not to go wild with my liberty. Viva la Taco Lupita in Lynn, MA. I enjoyed the taco combo plate.

Approximately 2 oz. whole sunflower seeds

20 oz. Coke Zero

Small serving penne and meatballs

5 oz. tuna, 1 oz. pretzels

2 cups yogurt, 12 oz. blackberries.
