Day 29 Food log

Off diet...And it was great.

Day 28 Food Log

Throwing in the towel for the time being and calling it pre-Thanksgiving celebration.

Day 27 Food Log

10 oz. Ground beef 93 % lean, tomato

Approximately 6 oz. roast beef, smidgen of candied carrots, smidgen of green beans with Craisins

2 oz. pretzels, a serving of pop corn, Honeycrisp apple

5 oz. chicken breast, tomato

Day 26 Food Log

Black coffee, apple

5 oz. chicken (I bought a food scale....fewer approximatelys) (Around 4 PM)

Orange

10 oz. 93% lean ground beef, spinach (Approaching midnight)

Day 25 Food Log

Black coffee, piece of fruit.

5 oz. Chicken, celery

apple or orange (can't recall which)

Approximately 8 oz, 93% lean ground beef, tomato

Cup of yogurt with 6 oz. blackberries.

Food Log: Days 22 Through 24

Day 22

I had an unavoidable lunch meeting and it would have been awkward to bring my own food. The meeting would be held at a Salvadorean restaurant. I love Spanish food and I am also of the firm belief that it is like pizza, hamburgers and breakfast cuisine in that it is almost never a bad experience. Even when it's not very good, it's still pretty good. This lunch would be an exception to that rule. Ugghhh.

I ordered steak and eggs with beans and rice. (Carne juevos?)  Actually, the food was so-so with a few high points but the entire restaurant, including the Men's room, was filthy. Of course I was hungry, a side effect of this low calorie diet, so I cleaned my plate.

Later that night I was treated to spaghetti and meat balls. Way off diet. Good.

Day 23  I was unable to get back on-diet due mostly to poor planning on my part. I ate Chicken ala king with mashed potatoes for dinner. Way off-diet so I tried to keep portions small.

Day 24 More poor planning and I ended up eating leftovers from refrigerator. Nothing low fat or low calorie there.

According to the scales, I put on 3 lb. in 3 days. The dreaded rebound effect. In the past I gained 18 pounds in 38 days after coming off this diet. I plan to recommit to diet as well as figure out a moderated diet when this low calorie thing is discontinued.
