Note: Road trip to casino today. I am not a big gambler but a lady I share a lot with likes slot machines. I will never understand their appeal but that's another story for another time. I was on guard to keep from getting ravenously hungry but I felt like I needed more protein and calories to stay alert and energized, especially when driving.
Black coffee, apple.
Approximately 4 oz. 96% lean ground beef, approximately 6 oz. shrimp (This exceeds recommended diet but I wanted to be awake and alert while driving.)
22 Pretzels eaten on ride. (According to Schulz's, each one of their stick pretzels contains 10 calories. I love pretzels and hope to salute the world's most underrated food here some day. But they are calorie bombs. Three pretzel sticks equal two Lifesavers. A bag of pretzels is over 1k calories.)
Consumed at casino: Italian sub and Diet Pepsi...both off-diet.
Apple on ride home. More pretzels on ride home.
Approximately 2 cups of yogurt, 6 oz. blueberries.
Weight at end of day: 248 lb. That has to be water weight because I did not consume 3 lb. of food.
