Restarting Diet: 235 Lb.

Day 0 August 29, 2015...235 lb. Note: Eating what I want today. I am not a finicky eater and that was a rotten dinner. Store-bought cole slaw was getting old and the hot dogs were yecch. I read the hot dog contents after I had eaten two and I barely got past the "mechanically separated meat from one or more sources..." Yum! Here is a pearl of wisdom: House brands are good for most things but not meat. Pay the extra nickel and buy Nathan's or Hebrew National or Ball Park. And remember that franfurters and hot dogs and wieners are not all the same thing. Eat franks!

Weighs 234 Lb.

I cannot say that I formally restarted the diet. I had to attend all-day conferences on July 22 and July 29. Food--good food--was provided. I was not going to even attempt to stay on diet those days.

Then I had house guests at the end of July so I could not stay on diet. There was a baptism, a baptism party and leftovers.

Then I had a few work-related lunches.

Yes, and my will power failed me a few times.

So, even with minimal commitment I lost six pounds (6 lb.) in 27 days (my last repost July 20.)

Not bad.

Hope to restart the diet in earnest this week.
